HTML Tags – Table Body Tag

What is HTML
tag ?

HTML
tag is used to group the body content in an HTML table.

HTML
tag represents body of data for the
element.

HTML
tag must be a child of
element.

HTML
tag encapsulates a set of table rows
by which indicating that they comprise the body of the table
.

Note : HTML
element must have one or more
tags inside.

How HTML
tag works ?

HTML
tag is used in conjunction with the
and
elements that specifies table header, table footer respectively.

HTML
tag must be a direct descendant of a
element and is used to identify
and
elements that comprise the body of the table.

HTML
tag should always come after a
tag and may come before or after a
element.

Normally browsers can use
information to enable scrolling of the table body independently of the header and footer.

Note : HTML
,
, and
elements will not affect the layout of the table by default. However, you can use CSS to style these elements.

Why HTML
tag is used ?

HTML
tag along with
tag is used to represent and group the body content of the HTML table.

Note : More than one
elements can be used for each table as long as they are all successive, This behaviour will separate the rows in large tables into sections and we can be able to format each of them separately.
