What is HTML <ins> tag ?
HTML <ins> tag represents the newly added text in an HTML document.
HTML <ins> tag defines the text that has been inserted into a webpage.
Browser usually renders with an underline through the text, but it can be changed using CSS property.
HTML <ins> tag contains a starting <ins> and ending </ins> tag.
How HTML <ins> tag works ?
HTML <ins> tag represents a range of text that has been added to a document.
Similarly HTML <del> tag represents a range of text that has been deleted from the document.
HTML <ins> tag specifies a block of inserted text as underlined text by the web browsers.
Why HTML <ins> tag is used ?
Suppose an article is published and later on if we want to add some more information describing something inside the article, the newly entered text will be displayed as underlined form inside the web-page.
And this underlined text properties can also be changed using CSS.
HTML <ins> element is often paired with a <del> element which identifies deleted text replaced by the text contained in the <ins> element.
