What is an HTML <article> tag ?

HTML <article> tag is used to define an independent self-contained article.

HTML <article> tag is introduced in HTML5.

Why HTML <article> tags is used ?

HTML <article> tags are used in webpages to display the article, blog post or specific writing article.

Whenever there is a need to display some written information inside the webpage <article> is used.

How HTML <article> tag works ?

HTML <article> tag represents a self-contained part inside the document, webpage or application.

These self-contained part is well indented with enough space inside the webpages.

This may be of a forum post, a magazine , newspaper article, blog entry, product description or comment.

The space for the <article> is independent and reusable.
