What is HTML <datagrid> tag ?

HTML <datagrid> tag is used for specifying the data in datagrid.

Data will be specified either in tree,list or tabular data.

Data is structured as a set of rows representing a tree, each row being split into a number of columns.

Each column can have a caption (which are not considered rows in their own right).

HTML <datagrid> tag was introduced in HTML5, but now this tag is removed from the HTML5.

How HTML <datagrid> tag works ?

In a datagrid, data is structured as a set of rows representing a tree, each row being split into a number of columns.

Each row can have child rows, and based upon the opening and closing of the parent row the child rows may be hidden or shown.

Each column can have a caption (which are not considered rows in their own right).
